Vinicius Tobias Learns He's Not the Father Just After Tattooing Baby's Name
In a shocking turn of events, Vinicius Tobias, the talented 20-year-old Brazilian footballer, recently discovered through a DNA test that he is not the biological father of the baby girl whose name he had tattooed on his arm. Tobias, who had a brief stint at Real Madrid and now plays for Shakhtar Donetsk, had the name of the newborn, Maitê, inked on his skin just a week before finding out the heartbreaking news.
On October 8, 2024, his ex-girlfriend Ingrid Lima gave birth to a baby girl, and despite their on-and-off relationship, Tobias believed he was the father. In a gesture of love and dedication, he had the baby's name, Maitê, along with the words "te amo" ("I love you" in Portuguese), permanently tattooed on his arm. However, in a twist of fate, just a week after the birth, Lima publicly revealed that a DNA test had confirmed Tobias is not the biological father.

Ingrid Lima took to social media to explain the situation to her followers, stating that during the time of Maitê's conception, both she and Tobias were involved in separate relationships. She expressed that the truth had come to light after a DNA test, and while this revelation was undoubtedly painful, she asked her followers to stop attacking Tobias. She explained that both had moved on with their lives and had amicably discussed the matter.
The revelation comes at a difficult time for Tobias, who has been building his career in football. Known for his impressive talent, Tobias was signed by Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022 and spent two seasons on loan at Real Madrid. He recently returned to Shakhtar and signed a new contract until 2029. His future on the field remains bright, but this personal setback has undoubtedly been a tough emotional blow.
The situation highlights how personal life challenges can impact even the most successful athletes. Tobias has yet to comment publicly on the DNA test results, but it's clear that this chapter has been difficult for him to navigate, especially after taking such a permanent step with the tattoo. Despite the emotional strain, Tobias remains focused on his football career, which continues to hold great promise for the talented young defender.
