Paul Bernardo Denied Parole for the Third Time Amid Emotional Hearing
Notorious Canadian serial killer and rapist Paul Bernardo was denied parole for the third time on November 26, 2024. The decision followed a lengthy and emotional hearing held at the La Macaza Institution, a medium-security prison in Quebec, where Bernardo has been held since his transfer from a maximum-security facility in Ontario last year.
Bernardo, now 60 years old, has been incarcerated for over three decades for the horrific crimes he committed, including the murders of teenagers Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy. These crimes shocked the nation and left lasting scars on the victims’ families and the broader community.
