The night saw Swift claim an impressive 10 awards, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist, cementing her position as one of the most influential figures in music.

Before the ceremony, Swift was tied with rapper Drake at 39 awards each. While Drake added three more to his tally during the night, bringing his total to 42, Swift’s 10-win sweep propelled her to an unprecedented milestone. Reflecting on her achievement in a heartfelt pre-recorded acceptance speech, Swift expressed immense gratitude to her fans and supporters, thanking them for their dedication to her music and tours. She said, “Everything that’s happened with the Eras Tour and The Tortured Poets Department has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. Earlier in 2024, she broke her own record by claiming the top 14 spots on the Hot 100 after the release of The Tortured Poets Department . The album also spent a staggering 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it her longest-charting record at the top.
