Brighton Thrash Norwich 4-0 to Storm Into FA Cup Fourth Round

Brighton & Hove Albion delivered a commanding performance to secure a 4-0 victory over Norwich City in the FA Cup third round at Carrow Road. The Seagulls, led by Fabian Hurzeler, showcased their Premier League quality as they cruised past the Championship side, ending an eight-match winless streak in all competitions.

Georginio Rutter was the star of the night, scoring twice in the first half to set the tone for Brighton’s dominance. The opener came in the 37th minute, as Joel Veltman’s precise cross found Rutter unmarked in the box. The forward’s clinical header left Norwich’s goalkeeper George Long with no chance. As the first half drew to a close, Rutter struck again. Freed by Yankuba Minteh, his deflected strike soared into the roof of the net, effectively extinguishing Norwich’s hopes of a comeback.
