The anime continues the journey of Sung Jinwoo, once known as the weakest hunter, who underwent a transformation after being revived by a mysterious system. In the first episode, which is titled "You aren’t E-rank, are you?" Jinwoo finds himself playing an unexpected role as a mentor. He attends a parent-teacher meeting for his sister, Jinah, where a classmate expresses interest in dropping out of school to pursue a career as a hunter. To give her a glimpse of the harsh realities of the hunter world, Jinwoo decides to take her on a journey through a C-rank gate. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when they find themselves trapped in a high-level dungeon, connected to a Red Gate, isolated from the outside world. This sets the stage for a high-stakes adventure, as Jinwoo will need to use all his new abilities to survive and protect those around him.

The season will adapt the "Red Gate" story arc from the original manga, which promises an exciting new chapter in the saga. Alongside Jinwoo, fans will also meet new characters, including Han Song-Yi, a rookie hunter who will be taken under Jinwoo’s wing. With 12 episodes lined up for the season, there’s much to look forward to as the story unfolds.

The animation, once again handled by A-1 Pictures, will deliver stunning visuals, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. The anime's music will feature compositions by Hiroyuki Sawano, with theme songs from renowned artists like TK from Ling Tosite Sigure and LiSA, ensuring an emotionally charged soundtrack to accompany the action.

With Season 1 having set such high standards, expectations for Season 2 are sky-high. If you’re a fan of intense action, captivating storylines, and character development, this is a show you don’t want to miss.
