Silent Witness Season 29 – New Faces and a Thrilling Finale!
Alright, Silent Witness fans, get ready because the gripping crime drama is back with an explosive two-part season finale that you won’t want to miss! Season 28 has been an intense ride, and now, as we step into the final episodes, things are heating up like never before.
This time, Nikki Alexander (played by the incredible Emilia Fox) and Jack Hodgson (David Caves) are thrown into a chaotic investigation after six people are gunned down at a Syrian pizza restaurant. The tension skyrockets when CCTV footage leads them to a suspect—only for him to be found dead under suspicious circumstances, using the exact same rare bullets from the attack. Talk about a twist!
The first part of this high-stakes case, titled I Believe in Love , aired on February 3, with the thrilling conclusion following on February 4 at 9 PM on BBC One. And of course, we have the return of our favorite main cast members, along with some exciting new additions that are bound to shake things up.
Let’s talk about the amazing lineup of actors joining this season. Karl Collins, who many will recognize from The Bill and Hollyoaks , takes on the role of DI Ivor Strong. Then we have Joe Absolom, known for EastEnders and Doc Martin , playing the role of Calvin. Robert Lonsdale, who has graced both the stage and screen ( Coronation Street , Chewing Gum ), appears as Alex.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Courtney ( Call the Midwife , Doctor Who Podcast Series ) plays Police Sergeant Kate Fry, and Stephen Uppal ( Hollyoaks , The History Boys ) takes on the role of Akram Rahul.
There’s even some fresh talent coming in! Darcy Wallace, who might be making their acting debut, plays a mysterious thief, while Penny Morris, an Irish actress known for theatre, appears as a young teacher.
And, amidst all the chaos and crime-solving, Nikki is also juggling wedding dress shopping! But, as always, work seems to take priority, leaving her and Jack struggling to find time for their personal lives.
With action, mystery, and a stellar cast, this season finale is set to be a rollercoaster ride. If you haven’t tuned in yet, now’s the time! Silent Witness airs on BBC One, and trust me, you won’t want to miss a second. Who’s ready for an edge-of-your-seat conclusion?
