Born in Hawaii, he spent his childhood between Shanghai and Guangzhou before making his official debut in Hong Kong in 2005. From the very start, his unique blend of Western R&B and Mandarin pop set him apart, winning him a devoted fan base across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China. His debut album Soulboy marked the beginning of an extraordinary career, with hits like Love Song and Three People’s Trip becoming timeless classics.
Throughout his career, Khalil's passion for music remained unwavering. He was known for his dedication to perfection—his meticulous attention to detail in both composition and production made his music deeply personal and emotionally resonant.
