Keung To’s Ocean Fall Turns into a Moment of Gratitude and Strength
Earlier today, a surprising and concerning piece of news sent shockwaves across social media—popular MIRROR member Keung To reportedly fell into the sea near the Western Wholesale Food Market in Hong Kong. The incident, initially alarming, has now been clarified by Keung To himself and his agency, Makerville, assuring everyone that it was just a minor mishap.
So here’s what really happened: around 4:36 PM, emergency services received a call about a man who had fallen into the sea in the Western District. That man turned out to be none other than Keung To. According to his agency, he was jogging near the waterfront when he suddenly felt dizzy and lost consciousness. By the time he came to, he had already been rescued. Fortunately, he was awake, responsive, and quickly taken to the hospital for further care.

Makerville swiftly issued a statement saying Keung To is doing fine and is currently resting in the hospital. They expressed deep gratitude to the individuals who assisted during the incident and urged the public not to speculate or spread misinformation. The company emphasized that outside rumors were unfounded and reassured fans that Keung To is in good condition.
Keung himself also took to Instagram through his manager’s account, expressing regret for worrying everyone. In his own words, it was “just a small accident” and he’s completely okay. He apologized sincerely and asked fans not to overthink the situation. What’s more, he even shared that he plans to attend a scheduled event tomorrow, accompanied by a thumbs-up and what appears to be him still in a hospital gown. That gesture alone was enough to put many fans at ease.
His MIRROR teammate AK, who appeared at an event the same evening, admitted he was unaware of the situation at the time and preferred to comment after he had gathered more information.
As it turns out, Keung To is expected to appear tomorrow evening at the “Lo Seoul” travel-sharing event alongside fellow MIRROR members Anson Lo, Edan Lui, and Jeremy Lee at MacPherson Stadium. And right after that, he’s reportedly heading straight to the airport for Paris Fashion Week.
So while today’s headline might have sparked a wave of panic among fans, the reality is far less dramatic. Keung To had a minor incident, handled it with grace, and is already gearing up for what’s next. It’s a moment that reminds us even our idols are human—but it’s how they respond that makes them truly inspiring. Keung’s calm, grateful demeanor shows strength not just as a performer, but as a person.
