Argonauts and Elks Set for High-Scoring Week 11 Clash
The stage is set for an exciting CFL showdown as the Toronto Argonauts travel west to face the Edmonton Elks in Week 11 of the 2025 season. Kickoff at Commonwealth Stadium is locked in for Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. ET, and both teams are coming in with plenty to prove. That said, the Elks have their own reasons for optimism. Quarterback Cody Fajardo has sparked new energy on offense, and the team has been more efficient since he took over. Toronto’s defense, while explosive on offense, has its own weaknesses, ranking last in rushing yards allowed per game and struggling in special teams coverage. The Argos give up an average of 32 points themselves, meaning Edmonton should find opportunities to move the ball and put points on the board.
Oddsmakers expect a close game, with Edmonton slightly favored at home. The over/under has been set at 53.5 points, signaling that plenty of scoring is anticipated. Toronto’s team total of 25.5 looks modest, especially since they’ve gone over that mark in seven straight games. The big question will be whether Edmonton’s defense can rise to the occasion or if Arbuckle and company will light up the scoreboard once again.
Injuries also play a role. The Argonauts are missing key contributors like Kelly and offensive tackle Ryan Hunter, while Edmonton will be without wide receiver Zach Mathis. Even with those absences, both teams still have enough firepower to make this one entertaining.
