Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons’ $23m Cremorne Estate Hits the Market

After nearly three decades, one of Sydney’s most recognisable media couples, Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons, have decided it’s time to close a chapter on their long-time family home in Cremorne. This isn’t just any property—it’s a sprawling Federation-style estate called Ingleneuk, which has stood since around 1903. Now, for only the third time in its 122-year history, it’s up for sale, with a price guide of $23 million.

Back in 1998, the couple purchased the landmark residence for $2.95 million. Since then, it’s been the backdrop for countless family milestones and memories. Perched on over 3,200 square metres of prime lower north shore land, Ingleneuk offers panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the city skyline—a view most people only dream about.

The home itself has been beautifully preserved and enhanced over the years. Renovations were overseen by respected heritage architect Clive Lucas, whose design also paved the way for future plans including a triple garage with an attached studio and a new garden room. The property boasts five bedrooms and four bathrooms, plus multiple spaces designed for both comfort and entertaining.

Outdoors, the grounds are a showpiece in their own right. Designed by acclaimed landscape gardener Will Dangar, the gardens surround a rare north-facing lawn tennis court—a luxury feature seldom found in this part of Sydney. There’s also a sun-drenched pool and cabana area, perfect for long summer afternoons. The property’s dual frontage adds to its prestige, making it as practical as it is beautiful.

For Lisa and Peter, the decision to sell comes as their family dynamic changes. With all three of their children now grown and living their own lives, the expansive home has simply become more space than they need. Downsizing has become the natural next step, even if parting with such a remarkable residence is bound to be bittersweet.

The sale is being handled by Monika Tu of Black Diamondz and Brad Pillinger of Pillinger—two names well known in Sydney’s high-end property market. Interest is expected to be strong, given the home’s heritage, size, location, and rarity.

Ingleneuk has seen more than a century of history, from its early Federation beginnings to its place as a modern-day luxury estate. Soon, it will pass into the hands of new owners who will write their own chapter in its story. For the rest of us, it’s a glimpse into the elegance and exclusivity of Sydney’s most sought-after homes—where sweeping harbour views meet timeless architecture, and every corner whispers a piece of the past.
