Marvel Unleashes 'Eyes of Wakanda' Trailer Ahead of Disney+ Premiere

So, Marvel has just dropped the first trailer for its brand-new animated series Eyes of Wakanda , and it looks absolutely stunning. The show is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on August 1 , and it's already stirring up a lot of excitement.

Eyes of Wakanda is a four-episode animated series created by Todd Harris. If that name sounds familiar, it's because he's got deep roots in the MCU — he worked closely with director Ryan Coogler as a storyboard artist on Black Panther and Wakanda Forever . Now, he's stepping into the spotlight as the director and executive producer of this new series, which dives into the stories of some of Wakanda’s most elite warriors.

The focus is on the Hatut Zeraze , a highly trained, secretive group of Wakandan fighters who actually operate outside of Wakanda — which is a rarity, considering how closed-off the nation usually is. These warriors are on global missions, traveling across different eras and locations to retrieve powerful Vibranium artifacts before they fall into the wrong hands. Each episode explores a different time period and setting, so you’re getting a globe-trotting, time-hopping action adventure with deep roots in Wakandan history.

And the voice cast? It’s packed with talent. We’ve got Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Lynn Whitfield, Anika Noni Rose, and many more lending their voices to bring this world to life. With only four episodes, it seems Marvel is going for quality over quantity — and from the looks of the trailer, the animation and storytelling are going to be top-tier.

The series is being produced in partnership with Proximity Media, with big names like Ryan Coogler, Kevin Feige, Brad Winderbaum, and Louis D’Esposito all on board as executive producers. That’s a serious lineup of creative power behind the scenes.

So if you’ve been itching for more stories from Wakanda — especially ones that explore its mysterious and powerful legacy outside the borders we’re used to — Eyes of Wakanda is definitely something to mark your calendar for. August 1, Disney+. Don't miss it.
