Liverpool Secure Marc Guehi in £35m Deal from Crystal Palace
Liverpool have agreed a deal to bring Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, marking one of the standout moves of this transfer deadline day. The England international centre-back, who is just 25 years old, has been granted permission to complete his medical in London and is expected to sign a long-term contract with the Premier League champions once the final paperwork is completed.
The deal, worth around £35 million with a 10 percent sell-on clause, was finally struck after both clubs reached a compromise. Liverpool’s initial bid had been on the table for days, but Palace delayed approval while trying to line up replacements. Their prime target, Igor Julio, chose to join West Ham, which created additional complications.
