Massive Power Outage Hits Sydney’s North
This morning, a huge power outage swept across northern Sydney, leaving close to 50,000 homes and businesses without electricity. The blackout struck just after 10 o’clock, with the first reports coming from the Pennant Hills area, right in the heart of the Hills District. From there, the problem quickly spread, affecting 15 different suburbs in total.
According to Ausgrid, more than 48,000 customers were caught up in the outage.
