Nicole Kidman’s London Mansion Stay Fuels Keith Urban Split Rumors
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have long been one of Hollywood’s most admired couples, but recent reports suggest things may not be as picture-perfect as they once appeared. Word has been spreading that the two are living somewhat separate lives, and the speculation has only grown since Nicole was spotted staying in London, far from her country music star husband.
Nicole, now 58, has been residing in a luxurious Hampstead mansion in the UK while working on Practical Magic 2 , the sequel to her beloved 1998 film with Sandra Bullock. Production on the movie has recently wrapped, but sources say she has gotten quite comfortable in the lavish property once owned by pop icon Boy George. The price tag for this temporary home? A staggering $132,000 AUD per month. And she’s been living there without Keith by her side.

Meanwhile, Keith has been busy with his High and Alive tour, crisscrossing the United States and Canada through mid-October. While touring is a major part of his career, insiders have noted that this long separation is unusual for the pair, who have been married for 19 years. Historically, the couple made it a rule never to spend more than two weeks apart. Yet, since the passing of Nicole’s mother last September, the time spent apart has stretched far beyond that.
A source told Woman’s Day that although the couple makes an effort to speak every day, there’s no denying the distance is starting to show. The insider claimed it feels “like they both went their separate ways,” raising eyebrows among fans who have admired their closeness over the years.
The mansion itself has a storied past. It is a Grade II-listed property featuring five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a cinema, a meditation room, and even a rooftop terrace. Its prime location near Hampstead Heath makes it a dream for any Hollywood star accustomed to wide-open American living. But its history is darker too—musician Michael Rudetsky, brother of Broadway personality Seth Rudetsky, tragically died there in 1986 while working with Boy George. Despite that shadow, Nicole seems unfazed, treating the house as her sanctuary during this phase of her life.
Boy George lived there until 2022 before putting it on the market for more than $30 million. Now, it serves as a temporary haven for Nicole, even as questions swirl around her marriage.
Whether this is simply a matter of professional commitments keeping them apart, or a sign of deeper changes in their relationship, remains unclear. But one thing is certain: fans are watching closely, hoping this power couple finds their way back to the balance they once vowed to maintain.
