Eva Longoria, at 43, has shared her heartfelt reflections on motherhood and how it’s reshaped her priorities. Longoria, now 50, opened up about the wisdom and patience she feels she’s gained over the years. As a mother, Longoria has become much more selective about the roles she chooses, ensuring that they don’t interfere with her time at home. “If I’m saying yes to something and it’s taking time away from them, it’s got to be something I’m really going to enjoy and people I really want to work with,” she shared. This thoughtful approach to her career reflects her desire to maintain a balance that puts her family at the forefront.
The actress also touched on her past relationships, including her marriages to actor Tyler Christopher and basketball player Tony Parker. Her current relationship with José Bastón has been a source of happiness, starting in 2013, with a romantic proposal in Dubai two years later. They married in a beautiful ceremony in 2016, surrounded by loved ones. Longoria also shared how fortunate she feels to be a stepmother to Bastón’s children from a previous relationship, emphasizing how supportive he has been of her career.
As she prepares for her next big project, directing the Netflix comedy series The Fifth Wheel , Longoria lightheartedly credited her strong marriage to Bastón’s patience. “My husband puts up with me, that’s the secret. Find somebody who’s going to put up with your s***!” she joked, showcasing the loving, humorous dynamic they share. It’s clear that while her career is still important to her, Eva Longoria has found a fulfilling balance that prioritizes family without sacrificing her own ambitions.
