Keyonte George Shines in Thrilling Double OT Win with Game-Winning Shot
Keyonte George has emerged as a hero in one of the most thrilling games of the season, leading Utah to a narrow double-overtime victory over Chicago with a dramatic game-winning shot. The Utah Jazz triumphed 150-147, overcoming a valiant effort from Chicago, who suffered their fifth consecutive defeat despite a stellar performance from Josh Giddey.
Giddey, returning from an ankle injury that had sidelined him for two games, continued his breakout campaign, recording his 21st career triple-double. The Aussie star posted 26 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds, alongside two blocks, two steals, and six turnovers. His all-around game was a bright spot for Chicago, but his missed shot in the final seconds of regulation sent the game into overtime, and eventually, double overtime. In the end, the Bulls couldn’t seal the win, leaving them heartbroken as they fell short in a game that had everything: drama, excitement, and incredible individual performances.

It was George, however, who stole the spotlight. With only 0.8 seconds left in the second overtime, he nailed a three-pointer to give Utah the lead and ultimately secure the victory. His 33 points were key to the Jazz’s win, and his clutch shot showed that he is more than capable of delivering under pressure.
For Chicago, Nikola Vucevic also had a strong showing, finishing with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Coby White, making his season debut after recovering from a calf injury, led the Bulls in scoring with 27 points. Despite their collective efforts, Chicago couldn’t overcome the sheer intensity of the game, and the win slipped away in heartbreaking fashion.
This thrilling encounter wasn't the only notable moment from the night, as Giddey’s Boomers teammate, Dyson Daniels, played a pivotal role in Atlanta’s comeback victory over Phoenix. Daniels nearly recorded a triple-double of his own, contributing 11 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds as the Hawks mounted a stunning 124-122 win. Atlanta erased a massive 22-point fourth-quarter deficit to extend their winning streak to five games, with Daniels playing a crucial part in that rally.
Meanwhile, in other NBA action, Houston's Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun combined for 65 points to lead the Rockets to a 117-113 overtime win over Orlando, continuing Houston's strong start to the season.
As the season progresses, both Giddey and Daniels continue to impress, showing that Australian talent is making its mark in the NBA, while Keyonte George’s clutch performance has added to the excitement of this unforgettable double-overtime thriller.
