Kitchener Residents Celebrate $1.6M and $350K Lottery Wins

Another major winner was Bernard Brian Woodsworth, a 69-year-old from Carp, Ontario, who hit the $5-million mark with the Instant Extreme lottery game. Having played the lottery for around 50 years, Woodsworth revealed that the prize would finally allow him to fulfil long-held dreams and enjoy a more comfortable life. Meanwhile, Jodi Jonescu of Ottawa claimed $5 million on the Lotto 6-49 Classic jackpot from a ticket purchased back in April, proving that sometimes patience truly pays off.

Twenty additional winners across Ontario walked away with $1 million or more, and a map released by OLG highlights where these tickets were purchased. Brampton led the province with ten winners, followed by Mississauga with six, Hamilton with five, and Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, and Ottawa each contributing four winners to the tally.
