Rosé, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar Dominate Apple Music’s 2025 Charts

So, Apple Music has just revealed its Global Year-End Charts for 2025, and the lineup at the top is honestly huge. Rosé, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA have taken over the streaming world this year, and their names are appearing everywhere across the platform’s biggest rankings.

At the very top of the global songs chart sits “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars. This track, which dropped back in October 2024, never really slowed down. It was streamed, Shazamed, and searched for lyrics at massive rates all year. The song wasn’t just popular—it became one of those runaway hits that keeps spreading on its own. It even continues to get major awards buzz, especially as a strong contender for song and record of the year at the 2026 Grammys. Basically, if there was a chart to top, “APT.” found its way there.

Right behind it on the global chart is Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther,” another track that quietly built momentum and then exploded. It landed at No. 2, and it seems like Kendrick just owned the year overall. He managed to place five songs in the top 25, more than any other artist, and nine in the top 100. His collaboration with SZA, “30 for 30,” also made a strong debut in the top 10. That kind of chart presence doesn’t happen often—it’s a reminder of how influential he still is.

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” grabbed the No. 3 spot, followed by Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.” As for Morgan Wallen, he quietly collected more total chart entries than anyone else, stacking up 12 songs in the top 100.

Some of the biggest surprises came from emerging voices. Lola Young’s “Messy” became the second-most Shazamed song of the year and performed impressively across global radio. Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” also stood out, landing near the top of both Shazam and radio rankings. Even on the lyrics chart, where listeners search for words to sing along, a track like Huntr/x’s “Golden” broke through in a big way.

Apple Music released all these charts alongside Apple Replay ’25, which gives listeners that deep dive into their own habits—everything from total minutes listened to which artists they returned to the most. For artists, new analytics tools were rolled out as well, helping them see how their music grew year over year.

It’s been a packed year for streaming, and looking at these results, it’s clear that 2025 has been shaped by a mix of global icons, big comebacks, and fresh talent rising fast.
