Brady Tkachuk’s Dramatic OT Goal Secures Senators’ Fifth Straight Win
Brady Tkachuk delivered an electrifying moment in Calgary, scoring just 55 seconds into overtime to propel the Ottawa Senators to a 3-2 victory over the Calgary Flames. It marked the Senators' fifth consecutive win and showcased Tkachuk’s knack for clutch performances. For Calgary, the loss highlighted their struggles in overtime. The Flames have played a league-leading 12 overtime games but have dropped their last four. Despite goals from Blake Coleman and Jonathan Huberdeau, along with Dan Vladar’s 26 saves, the Flames were unable to secure the win. Coleman acknowledged the tight, defensive style the Flames often play but emphasized the need to capitalize on opportunities in overtime.
