FM25 Cancelled: Football Manager Fans Left Disappointed
Big news in the gaming world today— Football Manager 25 (FM25) has officially been cancelled after a series of delays. Sports Interactive, the developers behind the legendary football simulation series, made the tough call to scrap the 2025 edition altogether and shift their focus to the 2026 version instead.
This announcement comes after months of speculation. Fans were already raising concerns when a promised update in late January didn’t arrive. Now, Sports Interactive has confirmed that FM25 just wasn’t meeting their high standards, and rather than releasing an unfinished game, they decided to pull the plug.

This cancellation is especially disappointing because FM25 was set to be a huge leap forward for the franchise.
