After limited opportunities in LA, he was moved to the Hawks earlier this month and then waived shortly after. Now, he gets a fresh start in Minnesota on a two-way contract.
This is a low-risk, high-reward move for the Wolves. Hyland has undeniable talent—he’s a dynamic scorer and shooter who can provide instant offense off the bench. If he can improve on the defensive end and fit into the Wolves’ system, this could be a huge steal for Minnesota.
