Below Deck Season 12 Kicks Off With a Floating Fiasco

Season 12 of Below Deck has just dropped anchor—and chaos has already set sail. Fans of the Bravo hit are used to the occasional storm, both on deck and off, but this season’s premiere comes in hot with what Captain Kerry Titheradge bluntly calls a “f***ing nightmare.”

Imagine this: the yacht sets off on its glamorous Caribbean charter, the crew’s in place, the guests are ready to relax—and then they realize something vital is missing. The luggage. All of it. Still sitting back at the dock.

In a sneak peek from the June 2 premiere, the high seas may be calm, but tensions are anything but. Chief steward Fraser Olender starts raising alarm bells as he can’t find the guests’ bags anywhere onboard. He goes to Captain Kerry for answers, who immediately calls out the deck crew’s sloppy oversight. “F***ing wankers,” he mutters in a confessional, frustration boiling over.

Bosun Caio Poltronieri and deckhand Jess Theron are out on deck, but the rest of the team—Kyle Stillie and Damo Yorg—are casually lounging in the crew mess when the news breaks. Fraser confronts them, and Kyle just laughs. That’s when you know things are going to unravel quickly.

Fraser urges the deckhands to deal with the blunder “sharpish,” while someone in the background sums up the moment perfectly: “This is a f***ing nightmare.”

It’s a rocky start to what promises to be a wild ride. With returning faces like Kerry, Fraser, and Kyle, and new personalities including Chef Lawrence Snowden, Caio, and stews like Barbara, Rainbeau, and Solène, Season 12 looks like it's ready to stir the pot harder than ever.

Bravo teases a season filled with tropical drama, tangled relationships, and, of course, high-stakes mistakes. From Chef Lawrence trying to balance fine dining with personal beliefs to Captain Kerry possibly confronting a serious boundary-crossing incident involving Kyle, the drama will hit both the bow and stern.

Fraser hinted that this season might involve not just firings but “disasters left, right and center.” And if the first episode is any indication, we’re already there.

Season 12 of Below Deck airs Mondays on Bravo, with new episodes available the following day on Peacock. Buckle up—because this charter season is already off course.
