Bridgett Roccisano Opens Up About Heartbreaking Split

So, there’s been a lot of talk lately about Bridgett Roccisano—you know, the co-founder of Booby Tape and the face behind one of Australia’s most successful beauty brands. And now, she's confirmed something that many were speculating about: her split from husband Joshua Cavallaro, just three months after the birth of their daughter, Elle.

The news broke via Bridgett’s own Instagram Stories, where she decided to speak directly to her followers. She said she felt it was important to be open, especially since rumors were already swirling. In her words, she was “saddened” to confirm the separation, and she described the past year as one full of unexpected change.

Now, if you’ve followed Bridgett at all, you’ll know how much family means to her. She became a mother in April, and while the experience has clearly been transformative and deeply meaningful for her, this wasn’t how she pictured the journey unfolding. Still, she talked about finding a kind of inner strength she didn’t even know she had—something she's drawing on now for both herself and her daughter.

She also made it clear that her main priority is Elle, especially when it comes to protecting her privacy. Bridgett explained that although she’d like to say more, she’s choosing to keep many of the details private out of respect for her daughter—who might someday read these very words.

The confirmation came not long after fans noticed she was no longer wearing her wedding ring in some recent Instagram photos. That sparked speculation, which only grew stronger when all traces of Joshua—wedding photos included—were removed from her profile. Joshua’s account followed suit. However, interestingly, they still follow each other online.

Bridgett and Joshua’s love story actually goes way back to high school, though they only reconnected during the COVID-19 pandemic. They got married in April 2023 in a lavish ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. Her gown was stunning—custom-made by designer Con Ilio—and their reception at the National Gallery of Victoria even featured a surprise performance by Ricki-Lee Coulter.

But life has taken a turn. And now, Bridgett and baby Elle are moving forward on a different path—one Bridgett says is filled with stability, love, and the support of family and close friends. Despite the heartache, she seems to be focusing on healing, growth, and giving her daughter a secure and loving foundation.
