NFL Week 1 2025 Kicks Off with Thrilling Finishes and Shocking Starts
The first Sunday of the 2025 NFL season is now in the books, and what a ride it was. Fans were treated to close finishes, breakout performances, and a few eyebrow-raising struggles that left plenty of talking points as the new campaign got underway. Let’s break down some of the biggest storylines.
In Atlanta, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled off a dramatic 23-20 win over the Falcons. For most of the afternoon, Tampa Bay’s offense looked sluggish, producing little more than grinding, stalled drives. Indianapolis offered one of the biggest surprises of the day, blasting Miami 33-8. Daniel Jones, in his first game with the Colts, looked sharp and composed, throwing for over 270 yards and accounting for three touchdowns.
