AC/DC Charges Up for Explosive 2026 ‘Power Up’ World Tour
Legendary rock giants AC/DC are back and ready to electrify fans around the world once again with their massive 2026 “Power Up” tour. Announced by Live Nation Entertainment, the tour marks another thrilling chapter in the band’s five-decade career, reigniting the same raw energy that first lit up the stage back in 1973.
The new leg of the Power Up tour will kick off in February 2026, taking AC/DC across North and South America before powering through summer dates in Canada and the United States. Fans can expect 21 concerts in total, with stops in cities like São Paulo, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and many more. Each show promises to be a full-scale rock spectacle, with stadiums already bracing for an electrifying crowd.
In Canada, the band will hit major venues including Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium on August 13, 2026, as part of their North American run. Other Canadian cities such as Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto are also gearing up to welcome the Australian legends next summer. Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, November 7, at 10 a.m. local time on AC/DC’s official website.

The lineup for this tour includes familiar faces and a few more recent additions. Co-founder Angus Young will once again take the stage on lead guitar, joined by powerhouse vocalist Brian Johnson , rhythm guitarist Stevie Young , drummer Matt Laug , and bassist Chris Chaney . Stevie Young stepped in after the passing of Malcolm Young, Angus’ brother and co-founder of the band, who died in 2017. Despite the lineup changes, the band’s sound remains as hard-hitting and unmistakable as ever.
Although the tour technically supports their latest studio album Power Up , released five years ago, the concerts are expected to be a celebration of AC/DC’s greatest hits. Fans will no doubt be treated to timeless anthems like “Back in Black,” “Highway to Hell,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and “Thunderstruck.” With more than 200 million albums sold worldwide and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2003, AC/DC continues to prove that their flame hasn’t dimmed with time—it’s only burned brighter.
Now, more than 50 years after their very first performance at Sydney’s Chequers Nightclub, AC/DC is showing that real rock and roll never fades—it just gets louder. As Angus Young famously put it, “We play rock and roll, not rock and roll history.” This 2026 tour will be living proof of that. Fans better get ready—because AC/DC isn’t just touring; they’re powering up the world once again.
