While these systems may bring some precipitation, snow doesn’t seem likely at this point due to the prevailing mild temperatures.
While the forecast shows a warm-up, the chance of snow is low. Most of the rain expected will likely remain confined to southern Kansas, and even then, it’s unlikely to be significant. As we approach the latter part of the week, the weather pattern could become more active, with rain possible again on Thursday, following Christmas. Temperatures will remain fairly mild, hovering in the upper 40s and low 50s, which will help keep the precipitation in liquid form.
